What We Offer

Imagination Station After-School Creation

After school creativity programs designed to both entertain and educate. Theatre games, art expression, creative writing, improv games and more! Limited spaces available.

Snacks and beverages included!
Free pick up from HPS.

Day/Times: Mon-Fri, 3pm-6pm

Adult & Teen Scene Study

This will be an on-going weekly class, one for teens and one for adults.

Students will be given two partners and two scenes that they will work on over a longer term while also having regular cold-readings in class as well.

Space is limited and before admittance, prospective students are required to attend a short meet at the studio to discuss the philosophy of the program.

Improvisation Workshops

Scott started improv classes at The Second City, Toronto at 17 and started his own school by 18. Since then he has graduated from The Second City Conservatory, LA. He has led over 200 Improv workshops at camps, businesses, and schools, all around the world and is excited to bring his love for the games to the kids and adults of Huntsville. Classes will start as a workshop but can be on-going for those interested in excelling at The Second City approach to improvisation. An excellent, fun set of classes to bring you out of your shell and bring out your inner child in some of the most fun and hilarious ways.

Full Service Self-Tape Studio

Covid has turned every actor/artist into their own cinematographer, grip, director, reader, and editor. At MCAS we can put you on tape with a professional casting reader and even direct you if thats your choice. Whether its a last minute film/tv audition on the long weekend or performance for a musical audition, we have a sound proof facility and all the equipment to facilitate your needs.

Professional Voice-over Workshops

You may know Grant as the morning man on Huntsville’s very own 88.7 The Bay, but that gorgeous voice has also been doing animation, video game and commercial work for over 25 years. But it takes more than a great voice to work as a professional. Grant’s workshops and private coaching will train you on the intricacies of what it takes to do the job to book the job while using professional scripts and sharing years of experience in the booth.

Public Speaking Workshops

If you happen to be one of millions who love what they do EXCEPT when you have to present, or pitch, or speak in front of any group larger than 3, than do we have the workshop for you! Have to give a speech at a wedding? Graduation? Celebration of Life? Work function? At MCAS we have a program that will help you grow beyond your fears and actually enjoy standing in front of a group and delivering a speech with more confidence and much less perspiration.

Private Coaching

Private coaching is available year long in every class we offer at MCAS with the exception of improvisation due to it being a predominantly group based discipline.
Coaching is offered in one hour blocks and can be booked by contacting the studio. Both Grant and Scott are available for coaching.

Their rates and availability may differ.

Although we prefer all coaching done at the studio, accommodations can be made for clients with personal and/or physical limitations.
